In this video, I take Naomi out on her first overnight camping trip in the remote Canadian wilderness. This time I set up camp under a poplar stand on the shore of a remote lake - the same one I passed while hunting grouse in my last video. While at camp, I set up a lean-to shelter using half of my surplus pup tent, cooked some venison steaks on the grill after building a fire with my fire-steel and a shavings pile, explored the area some more while collecting water and rose hips for tea, which Naomi took advantage by going swimming getting herself soaking wet and muddy, lashed together a quick tripod and pot hanger and steeped some tea using my new teapot, and of course more of the usual life in the bush - bucking wood, reading, keeping the fire stoked, playing with the dog, and more.
Enjoy the new video and keep an eye out for more content coming soon.
