Survival Board Games

Survival Board Games

Whether you're training for the SHTF, prepping for a new world order, or just looking to pass the time, there are several survival board games available for you to choose from. Some of these games are for 2 to 6 players, while younger children can even play them with a little assistance from a parent or other adult. When choosing a game for your family, be sure to choose one that doesn't require batteries. These games are great for training practice before the SHTF, and also make for great entertainment in your prepping tribe.

Forbidden Desert

If you're looking for a fun board game to spend your spare time with, the Forbidden Desert is a good choice. This game involves juggling several characters and their abilities to change the game's outcome. Each character has a unique skill, which you'll need to use wisely. One skill that should always be used is that of the Water Carrier. You'll need to collect water and share it with others, as without water, life is very difficult and the Forbidden Desert can be deadly.

Escape from Atlantis

Survive: Escape from Atlantis is an old-school board game inspired by the sinking of Atlantis, and its inhabitants' desperate attempts to survive. Originally released as Survive!, this game was published by Parker Brothers in 1982. Julian Courtland-Smith invented the game, and his name was found on early editions. However, if you don't mind a little take-that, then you should consider buying a copy!

Maximum Apocalypse

Known as a cooperative roguelike game, Maximum Apocalypse is a fun cooperative game for 1-6 players. This game combines exploration and teamwork and takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. Players take turns using up to four actions per turn and work together to survive. Each player has a different role and must cooperate with their teammates to survive.

Zpocalypse

In a world where the zombie apocalypse has left a ravaged world in its wake, a new survival board game has been developed by Greenbrier Games. Zpocalypse is an interactive game of survival and resource gathering set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Two to four players start out in a fallout shelter/base, where they must gather supplies and weapons to stay alive and avoid becoming a meal for zombies.

Zombicide: Black Plague

A zombie outbreak has caused a worldwide pandemic in which the human population has become completely uninhabitable. With the Zombicide: Black Plague survival board game, you and your team are the survivors in an attempt to survive in a zombie-infested world. But there are a few things you need to consider before you begin the game. This zombie-infested world is not a nice place to live.

Fishing Camp

If you like the outdoors, you'll love the new Fishing Camp survival board game. Developed by avid outdoorsman Tim Paczesny, the game teaches kids all about fishing, as they must catch as many fish as possible before reaching their home space. Each player begins at the dock, with a fishing boat piece. There are four difficulty levels to choose from: easy, medium, and difficult. The higher the level, the more challenging the fishing camp is!

Unreal World

The UnReal World is a cult classic and an open-ended wilderness survival roguelike RPG. The game takes place in an ancient North, and is widely praised for its depth, realism, atmosphere, and immersion. Players live on a vast, randomly generated world, and track animals and hunt them with bows and spears. Other gameplay mechanics include tracking weather and temperature conditions, building log cottages, and interacting with other cultures near you.
