DIY Camping Hacks

RV camping can be a bit cramped. You can't always take standard household items, but you can reuse containers for dry food and trash. Using dry food containers can also help you save money by avoiding buying trash bags. You can even use dry food containers as trash cans. This is an excellent way to save money and stay environmentally friendly.

Mason jar matchbox

Mason jar matchboxes are a great way to keep matches safe and dry, and they can also double as a tick deterrent. They are safe for your children and pets, making them perfect for summer camping and anytime outdoors. If you don't have any mason jars lying around, you can always reuse the lids of baby food containers. This way, you can keep a few matches in your backpack without having to buy new ones.

Mason jar grill

Mason jar grills can be a fun way to cook food outdoors. They are made to be light and portable, and they can easily be transported. A great camping hack is to store matches inside a mason jar. Place the matchsticks and a striker in between the top metal lid and the outside screw on ring. You can also keep an extra striker inside the jar just in case.

Dr. Bronner's Unscented Soap

For a DIY camping hack, try using Dr. Bronner's Unscented Soap. This natural soap works as a hand and body wash, shampoo, shaving cream, and dish soap. It is also biodegradable.

Duct tape

Beer-butt hack

You can make many useful things from empty beer cans. Some projects include a WiFi booster or a mini BBQ. However, you may need more than one can to make the project work.

Mason jar cooler

One great way to keep drinks cool during the hot summer months is by creating a Mason jar cooler. It is a perfect way to carry drinks that you don't want to leave behind. And, it's inexpensive to boot! There are many options for Mason jar lids.
